Jacob Morgan has conducted a thorough study of employee experience by questioning more than 250 organizations. His objective: to understand which actions contribute to improving this, under what conditions and with what results. On this basis, he proposes an employee experience model consisting of four domains: the raison d’être of the company, the work environment, the technological environment?i.e. the quality of the tools made available to staff?and, finally, the culture of the company. Champions in employee experience such as Airbnb, Facebook or Google excel in each of these four domains. But the author also presents numerous examples of more modest companies that have nevertheless succeeded in improving their employee experience. The first part of the book describes and illustrates the approach they followed. The second gives a detailed presentation of the statistical study conducted by the author. Although more difficult to comprehend, it clearly demonstrates the correlation between employee experience and company performance.
