As explained by the subtitle, this book underlines the generation of ideas as much as their concrete realization, making it useful to many different creative and innovative profiles! It comes at just the right time, when the experts are counting on innovation to accelerate the end of the crisis.
Using the acronym IDEA, the authors develop the four qualities of the perfect innovator: a person who can continuously maintain his Interest and curiosity, because ideas come to those who seek them; a person who can Diversify his fields of research, because unfamiliar fields often inspire new ideas; a person who makes constant Effort, because the search for ideas must be non-stop—given that the latter often occur at the most unexpected times; an Agile person able to play with and transform ideas, as well as test them with a flexible and ready mind. In short, there is no excuse for not innovating, because it’s a skill that can be learned!
While this book was written by two professors, it is far from theoretical. It is replete with examples and often original concrete case studies which may easily inspire personal initiatives and development.
