Summary

This article draws our attention to four qualities to be cultivated when accompanying teams through difficult times: awareness, vulnerability, empathy and compassion. To put them into practice, it recommends concrete practices along two lines: connecting with ourselves and connecting with others. It underlines that these two aspects mutually reinforce one another. In particular, identifying our emotions and admitting the vulnerability they reflect is precious for a good understanding of others and for being useful to them.
