Summary
This documentary mini-series follows Michael Jordan and his team, the Chicago Bulls, at the height of their powers, during the 1997-98 season. It shows how the Bulls’ coach of the time, Phil Jackson, used individualized methods to manage his team’s stars, particularly Dennis Rodman and Michael Jordan, two strong personalities with very distinct styles and mindsets. As the cameras track the players everywhere, even into the locker room, the series hides nothing of the players’ daily lives: clashes of egos, digesting defeats, remobilization techniques, etc. Fascinating entertainment, but also a source of inspiration for managers.
